The role of the SAP Technology and Quality Architect is to provide technical direction and guidance for the SAP suite of products, primarily ECC 6.0 for the purposes of future implementation and Quality Assurance (QA) of new and existing functionalities.

Major responsibilities will include architecture review, recommendation and approval for new and existing interfaces, enhancements and customizations for the SAP suite, primarily SAP ECC 6.0. The role will also include Quality Assurance assistance in the area of test automation and validation, specifically focusing on high impact/high value transactions and activities. Finally, the role will serve as a forward looking technology visionary within the SAP Suite for planning and delivery of a roadmap for future technologies and retrofits.

For a candidate to be considered he/she needs to have possessed and demonstrated the following capabilities and skill sets:

Technology
• Expert Level Proficiency in the SAP Suite and core SAP Technologies
o Primarily versed in SAP Technology around ERP, ABAP and Netweaver
? Additional skills in BW and Portal
o Strong Capabilities in
? ABAP, BAPI, RFC, WebService, WedDyrnpro usage
o Strong Technology Capabilities in Composition Environment and NetWeaver Development Infrastructure
• Expert understanding of large scale systems processing, massive parallel processing, synchronous vs asynchronous processing
• Significant experience with complex landscapes with multiple end to end process and technologies simultaneously in play
• Ability to develop or provide strong guidance in and out of the SAP Suite in the areas of
o Replicable testing
o Sustainable data sets/test sets
o E2E testing and system architecture

Process and Platform Acumen
• Leverage business process knowledge and SAP knowledge for prototyping solutions as a shared service to the business
• Investigate new SAP solutions for internal Applications promotions (enhancement packs, support packs, etc…)
• Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT use of business processes
• Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements
o Promote the use of SAP Standard to support the business
o Assessment of unused SAP Components
o Architecting any new SAP Deployment
o Assessment of current landscape technology and remediation
o Architect existing remediation efforts

Quality Assurance:
• Automate test scripts to accurately test critical business processes during integration and performance test phases
• Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT processes through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT initiatives.
• Prepare reports and analysis, setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
• Utilizes technical experience in Quality Center and QTP
• Provide QA functions along with application testing in integrated testing environment using Quality Center
• Documents technical aspects of Quality Assurance product development.
• Assist in test plans and script management for tracking defects and fixes in product development, software application development, information systems, and operations systems
• Create detailed reporting metrics for each test phase and distribute among project stakeholders
