Job Description/Summary SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC BUILDINGS DIVISION has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Strategic Account Manager. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Strategic Accounts, this role will have responsibility for existing key strategic account management and developing new strategic accounts, primarily in the Americas. Focus is on systems and solutions with supporting service deliverables, especially system integration and installation for security and customized software applications. Responsibilities include: • Manages and develops assigned strategic key account relationships within the Federal market segment • Develop, Modify and Implement Strategic Account Plans to support market share objectives • Maintain thorough knowledge of the federal Market segment by participating in selected Government Coalitions, Industry Organizations, trade shows, user conferences and industry forums • Sells systems solutions to executive level decision-makers and develops/maintains long term relationships • Pre-Sales / Post-sales support to prospective, current and past customers of SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC BUILDINGS DIVISION • Maintains profitable growth of assigned accounts and turnkey projects • Generates new business by strategic alignment and coordination with other internal sales channels including possibly forming account teams to meet customer needs • Develop sales forecasts Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree field (of study flexible) and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible and successful experience selling integrated systems and services within the Federal market segment with an emphasis on the Department of Homeland Security and DOD or Corp of Engineers. Candidates must have an advanced understanding of federal contracting vehicles including IDIQ's and BPA's and federal security mandates. To be considered, candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas/skills: target account sales planning, cold-calling, networking, providing technical training to sales and customers, designing and creating proposals, estimating project costs, conceiving and presenting sales solutions to customers, demonstrated experience in business development, account management and closing sales. Experience with SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC products is a plus. In this role, you must have excellent oral and written communication skills and an exceptional customer service attitude as well as a strong knowledge of integrated security systems, developed presentation skills, ability to influence and persuade internal and external customers, listening skills and proficiency in Internet and Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. This position requires overnight travel of one-two nights per week or up to 50% travel. Job Location: Listed as Dallas, TX, but can be flexible if a candidate lives in a major metropolitan area. |
