Product Specialists, Sensors 


Schneider Electric's Sensor Competency Center is seeking an ambitious and energetic Product Marketing Specialists in our Raleigh, NC facility. This key growth position will report to the Product Marketing Manager and support customers, regional sales managers, and distributors in all sales and marketing activities, managing a wide range of industrial sensor products offering solutions that meet customer needs. The portfolio consist of Electronic Presence Sensors (Proximity, Photoelectric, Ultrasonic), Limit Switches and Fluid Control sold into the Commercial and Industrial marketplace.


 Responsibilities will include:



  • Be the subject matter expert for the product offer.

  • Maintain Product Portfolio, offer specifications and content

  • Define buyer, user personas, determine market messages, and value propositions for individual products

  • Develop Promotional plans and drive execution

  • Create Channel / Reseller/ Customer tools

  • Monitor market, customer & competitive inputs and provide voice of customer product offer requirements.

  • Deliver thought-leading marketing content to for media events, blogs, e-tools, and other outlets

  • Identify best opportunities for sales lead generation

  • Align sales tools and the ideal sales process to the typical buying process

  • Facilitate customer and channel training creating and presenting effective presentations

  • Write product requirements and use scenarios for future products

  • Be liaison with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality 


Qualifications:


BS in Electrical Engineering with 1-3 years relevant work experience or equivalent in a wide range of industrial applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for clear, professional interaction with customers, engineering and our sales force.


 Work Environment


Fast paced and technical with emphasis on productivity needed to meet due dates for marketing projects and product launches.
