| Job Responsibilities |
The Remedy developer is responsible for the support, maintenance and development of the multiple integrated BMC products. The current BMC Remedy platform is the BMC IT Service Management Suite (ITSM) v.7.6 product suite and associated products. The role includes following existing development methodology, with planned phases and timeframes for customer requirements gathering and analysis, development of customizations and product configuration, testing, and promotion to the QA and Production environments.
Duties include:
• Configure Kinetic service request platform
• Customizing BMC Remedy Workflows, Forms, Reports, Filters to meet specified requirements
• Configuring Support Groups, Users, CIs, Foundation data
• Analyze, recommend, and drive improvements in Remedy/Kinetic platform.
• Document work in accordance with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) requirements
Skills and experience:
• Requires a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or CIS degree (Mandatory)
• Experience in ITSM/Help Desk tool
• Experience establishing and maintaining operational standards
• Initiative
