| Job Responsibilities |
This position is accountable for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for increasing sales and profits and ensuring customer satisfaction for national accounts, with a focus on the electric motor business. Responsible for calling on accounts, developing and coordinating sales presentations, and ensuring adequate sales service. Attracts customers through a targeted, aggressive approach to customer support. Works with sales and marketing management to study and develop sales and marketing strategies to support selling for national accounts. Calls on accounts, coordinating strategies with field sales and marketing. Establishes and maintains relationships with account personnel. Provides leadership and coordination of the sales and support teams. Assists sales personnel in developing sales presentations and account strategies. Participates in or presents sales proposals and promotional programs. Develops and implements plans to provide technical support, customer service and training. Conducts long range studies of changes in account sales and servicing strategies. Assures that new or modified selling plans are consistent with present sales policies and sales service capabilities. Reviews account procurement systems and distribution needs. |
