Description:

This position is accountable for answering telephone 'hot line' or written inquiries from external and internal customers regarding Square D Power Management Engineered solutions and Powerlogic products including.
• Analyzing and resolving broad ranging problems with non-functioning systems. Issues topics range from, electrical metering applications, software, internet/intranet, networking and communications and product applications
• Recommending corrective action including engineering work around solutions and documenting issues into the knowledgebase.
• Recommends solutions to customer application questions.
• Recommends solution and product enhancements for recurring issues to engineering services and design engineering.
Position is also accountable for performing proactive services on customer systems such as system upgrades, system optimization, and identifying future potential issues.

Requirements:
- 4 year bachelors degree or equivalent experience in electronics/electrical engineering
- 3-6 Months Experience in Electrical Facilities Maintenance a Plus

Skills:
- Understanding of Electric Metering Principles
- Ability to wire test cabinets from a schematic including soldering circuits and wiring PC's
- Understands Electrical Safety
- Understanding of Electronic Metering Systems, POWERLOGIC preferred
- Understanding of Lighting Control Systems, POWERLINK preferred
- Understanding of Network Communication Systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Operating Systems, computer installs
- NT/2000/XP/2000 Server
- Understanding of the Utilization of Databases, SQL-2000 Preferred
