APC by Schneider Electric is a global leader in critical power and cooling services, providing industry leading products, software and systems.

We are looking for currently enrolled students to help develop the monitoring and management products that fulfill this vision. Our InfraStruXure Central and Netbotz product lines help IT users monitor the physical environment to protect against environmental threats like temperature, humidity, and water, protect against physical threats by capturing video surveillance data and restricting access to sensitive areas within the data center, and manage thousands of infrastructure equipment by providing a software solution that ties everything together.

In your time here, you'll be working side by side with the QA staff working on our upcoming product releases using the latest and greatest technologies.

What you'll be doing:

• Playing with sensors, cameras, and other monitoring peripherals
• Designing and running test procedures
• Contributing to feature discussions
• Writing automated test scripts to minimize manual testing
Other duties as assigned.

Education required: Currently enrolled as a full time student, working towards a B.S. in CS, CE, EE or similar degree

Experience in the following subject matter is a plus: Scripting languages (Ruby, Python, etc.); Programming in C, C++, C#, and/or Java; Networking concepts and protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, SNMP, HTTP, Web Services, etc.); experience working in small, highly interactive teams; excellent communications skills written and oral; passionate, open, straightforward and effective mindset.
