| Job Responsibilities |
Accountable for planning, direction, leadership, communication, and performance of the assigned Sales Area(s) within the Sales Operations scope of responsiblity. Execution of processes that support the strategic direction of the Sales and Marketing organization. Work closely with Area Sales Manager to coordinate and execute desired strategic direction for Sales Area through sales performance management and area business planning. Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of programs to maximize sales staff performance and direct corrective action where required.
A. Accountable for planning, direction, leadership and performance of the assigned Sales Area Operations Team.
B. Responsible for overseeing the preparation of quotes and the quotation process for all customer segments within the assigned areas. This would include reviewing customer specifications, drawings, value engineering, pricing and customer proposals.
C. Oversees the pre and post order management activities, including drawing accuracy, order clean-up, job site meetings, plant material coordination and shipment, warranty and financial close-out as well as claim resolution.
D. Responsible for the price management of the assigned distributor lead business, including mix of product and margin.
E. Manages budget and assets for the assigned sales areas. |
