This position is responsible for leading and managing cross-functional teams toward the execution and implementation of Six Sigma/Lean projects. Provides continuous improvement to critical business processes using Six Sigma/Lean process improvement techniques. Leads project team members cross-functionally, to utilize Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assists in the development of Six Sigma/Lean strategies in support of business objectives.
• Works with management to identify potential process improvement projects, including cost justification and project plans.
• Leads cross-functional team members to utilize Six Sigma/Lean tools and methodologies to complete assigned projects.
• Identifies and documents best practices to ensure continuous project and process improvements.
• Leverages best practices across plants and/or business functions.
• Educates and trains project team members on Six Sigma/Lean tools and methodologies.
Job Specifications:
• Candidates must have a minimum of Bachelor's degree preferably in engineering. MBA desirable.
• Candidates must have minimum of 5 years of related experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing experience
• A minimum of Black Belt certification is required. Master Black Belt certification is desirable
• Candidates must have strong communication and presentation skills. Ideal candidates will have presented to executive level audience.
• Minimal Travel may be required with this role.
