Schneider Electric North America is looking to hire an experienced Software Architect. We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual who will be responsible for building software solutions to meet client needs. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in object-oriented programming using Relational or Object-oriented Database Management Systems and compiler theory knowledge. Candidates should be excellent team players and able to manage multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities
• Researches, designs, and writes software to specifications, either individually or leading a team of other developers
• Works with clients and Business Analysts to determine software requirements and system impacts
• Enhances existing software by analyzing and identifying areas for optimization or refactoring
• Generates technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests
• Assists with application maintenance by monitoring and correcting software defects
• Investigates new technologies and techniques and researches ongoing industry developments
• Mentors junior developers in best practices, procedures, and concepts

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
• Master's degree a plus
• 2+ years of technical leadership and architecture experience
• 4+ years C# experience, or 6+ years object-oriented programming experience
• 3+ years experience in the complete software development lifecycle
• 3+ years experience with MS SQL Server or any other RDBMS, or object-oriented DBMS
• 4+ years experience in .NET
• 2+ years experience in source control, unit testing, code verification, documentation, automated build, continuous integration, and code reviews
• 4+ years experience in user interface development
•2+ years of enterprise development experience
• Compiler theory knowledge a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
