Our Square D Services business is one of our fastest growing segments, and is supported by a competent staff of engineers who are experts in power, automation, and control. The Engineering Services team provides in-depth power systems analysis, testing, troubleshooting, design, and project management in order to ensure that our customers' power systems operate efficiently, reliably, safely, and economically. We have numerous engineering services career opportunities all across the United States.
Successful candidate will utilize engineering skills and industrial experience to identify and implement power systems solutions in industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities. Individual will be responsible for identifying a variety of customer power systems problems and improvement opportunities; performing onsite investigations of existing power systems; collecting and analyzing power data; performing engineering design, analysis and economic evaluations; performing short circuit, protective coordination, and arc flash studies; and, preparing and presenting technical reports of findings and recommendations. Candidate will apply exemplary consulting, electrical engineering analysis, troubleshooting, facilitating, and oral and written communications skills while working successfully on project teams in manufacturing facilities. The successful experienced candidate will bring 3+ years industrial power systems engineering design, studies and solutions; monitoring and testing of power and energy systems; and experience with electric power, short-circuit, protective coordination, arc flash analysis, electric system installations and upgrades, codes and standards and plant safety. Other desired qualities include an excellent attitude toward providing system solutions to customer problems and proven skills in written and oral communication of technical topics. BSEE or MSEE degree required; Professional Engineer or EIT certification preferred. Microsoft Office (or equivalent); SKM power systems analysis and AutoCAD experience along with demonstrated project team skills and the ability to successfully implement engineering design solutions of industrial power system problems also preferred. |
