We have an immediate position open for a Regional Sales Manager supporting Crouzet Motors and BEI Kimco Motors & Voice Coil Actuators which are headquartered in Vista, California. This position will be located in Northern California (near San Jose area).

SUMMARY:

This position is accountable for the promotion and sale of the total product range of BEI Kimco and Crouzet motors under the direction of the National Sales Manager. Will work with the Sales Manager and the Marketing Group to develop new sales opportunities and service the needs of established accounts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is accountable for the promotion and sale of high performance, custom and adapted products under the direction of the National Sales Manager.

Primarily develops new sales opportunities and addresses the needs of larger accounts.

Works with marketing department for follow up of sales leads as well as self generation of sales leads within the territory.

Utilizes excellent product, competitor and customer knowledge to act as a consultant for high-level customer contacts regarding customer's present and future needs.

Negotiates and coordinates pricing strategies, market conditions and changes for applicable area.

Primarily calls on development engineering departments to develop solutions to the customer's motion control needs. Conducts technical training, product presentations, and provides technical assistance as necessary.

This position will primarily be calling on major OEM accounts with a focus on developing and growing the customer base and business.

Responsible for all the Western States including the Pacific Northwest; individual will interface with customer service, application engineering, and engineering, all located in Vista, California.

Support the Medical, Laboratory, Food Processing, Office Equipment, Semiconductor, and Military/Aerospace markets.

Primarily responsible for growing business in the identified territory while also supporting existing business in the territory.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in motors, actuators, or related motion control products with experience calling on OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) with focus on custom and adapted products.
- Experience in target markets (medical, laboratory, food processing, semiconductor, and military/aerospace) is a definite plus
• Four year college engineering degree required
• At least 2 -3 years directly related sales experience

• Closing Skills: must possess and demonstrate the ability to not only find projects but win them
