Responsibilities
In the Technical Engineer Professional Development Program, you will receive extensive training and experience at APC's world headquarters in West Kingston, RI enabling you to become a successful technical expert at APC. You begin your career in Rhode Island as a Technical Support Engineer on the Customer Solutions Team, promoting your way to a variety of global opportunities in APC Product, Service, or Sales divisions (Product Manager, Configuration Engineer, Applications Engineer, Systems Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Network Integration Engineer, and others).

Main Responsibilities:

- Assist potential customers with product selection and configuration
- Interpret and resolve complex product questions
- Identify and route large business opportunities to sales teams for follow up and closure
- Ensure every interaction creates the optimal customer experience

The ideal candidate will have:

- Bachelors degree: Engineering / Information Technology preferred
- Strong problem solving and a high level of technical aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Capable of making business decisions to serve company and customer needs
- Ability to work in a dynamic, global environment
- Flexibility to travel or relocate
- Fluency in English required; Bilingual skills a plus
