Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Regulatory Compliance Engineer to work as part of a team of highly experienced developers creating the next generation data center solutions. The person in this role will be based at our N. Billerica Design Center.

The ideal candidate would have experience in leading the regulatory engineering process, review, planning, testing, approval and administration for system level global new product development projects; expert knowledge of safety and EMC regulatory standards, engineering skills, and independent judgment and participation in standard development committees relevant to Schneider Electric's protocols.

BSEE with 10+ years experience in leading a product regulatory engineering function. Demonstrated results in gaining regulatory certifications on new and newly revised products including UL, FCC, CD, ETL and VDE. Keep current with new regulations, distill for education of engineering community, understanding trends in regulatory trends in compliance. Experience in medium and low voltage power distribution;working with power conversion and distribution (motor drives, inverters, power supplies) preferably at high power levels (10kW - 2.5MW), HVAC systems, NFPA 70, electrical shock hazards and arc-flash safety; testing and directing work of technical support personnel; expertise in requirements for Low Voltage Directive, EMC Directive, UL1995,NFPA70, UL508, UL67 and EN60950; hands-on skills setting up and testing systems and troubleshooting; proficiency with test and measurement instruments used in mechanical, power and electronics circuits. Essential: excellent verbal/written communication, ability to create high quality technical reports, test reports, specifications and procedures; work effectively with multi-disciplined design teams; prioritize workload and adapt in a dynamic environment.
