This position is accountable for planning, scheduling, and coordinating of products through the complete production cycle. Works from sales order demand and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading and capacity requirements. Provides input to management to reschedule in case of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

• Maintains optimal inventory levels through proper planning and analysis
• Draws up schedules to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders
• Reviews production specifications and plant capacity data
• Works with Supply Chain team to optimize production material requirements
• Strong knowledge of production processes and excellent knowledge of ERP systems
Additional Responsibilities and Assets
• Tracking and expediting product by special request through the plant
• Understanding of logistics processes and allocation of product to specific orders
Qualifications

• Proven ability to take personal ownership of issues and drive for results
• Strong knowledge of Schneider software products, solutions and business
• Strong knowledge of scheduling and production planning principles and practices
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles
• Excellent organizational, time management, communication, decision-making and relationship management skills
• Project management experience an asset
• Quality and process design experience an asset
