| The Clinical Research Engineer is an essential member of the research and development team. The successful candidate will be accountable for the design, development, and execution of in-vivo trials. Major Ongoing Responsibilities: •Support R&D pre-clinical and clinical product feasibility, development, and research efforts •Drives site qualification, training, audits, and site compliance with Good Lab Practice (GLP) when applicable •Oversight, maintenance, and execution of preclinical projects •Coordinate and execute, supervise, communicate and report on in-vivo studies at trial sites •Initiate, recommend, write, and execute study plans and protocols for new product development including selection of appropriate animal models •Initiate and participate in project review meetings •Work with research scientists and development teams to collect, analyst, and report outcome data •Participate in cross-functional meetings •Develops journal article and abstract submissions and presentations at scientific meetings and trade shows •Develops expertise in assigned project areas and other related scientific disciplines Experience and Training: •Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent experience. Master’s Degree/PhD preferred •3-5 years combined experience in the medical device industry and/or academic research with animal research experience required •Previous experience in clinical research studies desired •Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing |
