Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate/motivated individual to assume the role of Director of Strategic Marketing: Risk Management in our Minneapolis MN or Omaha, NE location. Responsible for strategic development of marketing and communications strategy in a manner that is consistent with supporting business growth, this position is responsible for all marketing functions designed to achieve the overall business objectives of sales, growth, profitability, and visibility in the market. Drives the definition and execution of global marketing campaigns and grows the overall pipeline while increasing market share, brand equity, and customer loyalty. Orchestrates execution with Global Marketing organization


Responsibilities

-Translate business priorities into yearly strategic marketing plans and develop associated budget
-Develop integrated quarterly plans that include a well-rounded Marketing mix: traditional and digital marketing initiatives designed to maximize ROI
-Determine appropriate level of spend by segment and target geography; based on percentage of revenue and market stage/growth potential
-Work closely with business leadership, sales and product/solution management to ensure alignment
-Evaluate marketing effectiveness and optimize marketing mix
-Communicate Marketing strategy and orchestrate execution; drive coordination with Country Clusters and Global Marketing.
-Drive go to market strategies and develop associated marketing plans including PR, advertising, tradeshows/events, collateral, direct mail, online marketing, mobile marketing, social media, etc.
-Ensure ROI targets are met; create benchmark data to measure effectiveness of programs

Requirements

-The ability to articulate vision and strategy
-Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills
-Proven track record of accountability for results
-Well rounded marketing experience – product marketing, direct marketing, online marketing, channel marketing, affiliate marketing, etc.
-Track record in performance monitoring and results analysis of tangible metrics such as ROI, lead generation, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, gross margin impact, cost of acquisition, etc.
-Position requires 10+ years of progressively responsible marketing roles
-Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, MBA a plus
-Agriculture experience a plus
