Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to join the Talent Acquisition Mobility Team as a University Relations Recruiter based in either Dallas TX or Palatine, IL. This role will have responsibility for recruiting and building a pipeline of college candidates through using a variety of sources. In this position, you will expected to use knowledge of Schneider Electric to identify qualified candidates through resume screening, phone screens and preliminary interviews and to sell the candidate on the opportunity and company. As a University Relations Recruiter, you will continually work with hiring managers to fully understand their needs to ensure an efficient and effective interviewing and selection process.
• Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies
• Determine and manage key sources to obtain viable candidates (recruiters, direct sourcing, associations, colleges, web-based, media, print ads, career fairs, etc)
• Work with hiring managers to develop a search strategy for open positions
• Manage the employee referral program
• Resume screening, distribution, and tracking
• Participate in interviews
• Closely follow-up on interview with hiring managers and candidates
• Work with hiring manager to close candidates
Candidates must possess a BA or BS (field of study flexible). To be considered, candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas/skills: relationship building, networking, organization, change management, attention to detail, and time management. Candidates also must possess the ability to establish strong working relationships.
In this role, you must have excellent oral and written communication skills and an exceptional customer service attitude as well as developed presentation skills and proficiency in Internet and Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
